A brilliant location and very well maintained. Lovely buildings and truly excellent value for money. Situated about 15 minutes out of town, in a peaceful spot in the centre of farmland.

Stunningly beautiful small hotel for 1 night in Elvas. Very beautiful building and rooms with good beds. Generous and satisfactory breakfast with a wide array of delicacies and amazingly nice staff. Lovely pool, parking on the premises. Everything excellent...

The room we stayed in was cozy and had a nice touch with scented candles 🕯️. It had two windows allowing plenty of natural light to come in, plus the beds were really comfortable.

We stayed at QdSA in 2010 and were disappointed that such a wonderful facility was quite rundown. Now, a year later, enormous strides have been made into making it a really desirable hotel. It will surely become an expensive, fashionable resort in coming years - take advantage of the reasonable prices and stay there as soon as you can !
The original outdoor terrace still needs to be upgraded to provide an option of eating 'al fresco'. It overlooks a poorly maintained fish pool that badly needs cleaning.

All the staff we encountered were exceptionally pleasant and helpful at all times.´The meals in the beautiful restaurant were excellant -no complaints with anything. There was a good supply of hot water when required. Comfortable beds with beautifully clean, good quality bedding. We enjoyed strolling round the garden, admittedly some areas required a little renovation and painting, but there were people reconstructing a large terrace outside the restaurant so am quite sure everything will be in good order shortly making it a truly beautiful place to stay.

The setting. And the beds were comfortable. Staff spoke English.
Breakfast was not inspiring and the coffee was chicory - the first 'bad' coffee we've had in Portugal.

The setting is delightful with the hotel surrounded by formal gardens, olive and citrus groves. For part of our week at the hotel we were the only clients. This never prejudiced the service or kindness we received from the staff. On arrival our room was upgraded without charge and we were immediately made very welcome. Service was always warm and personal and this did not alter later in the week when there were more clients. Restaurant meals and buffet breakfasts were very good. We very much looked forward to and enjoyed returning to the hotel each evening.

Our children had a blast swimming and playing in the water all day long. The tennis court was also a great addition, and we enjoyed a friendly family match. The hotel's location allowed us to explore the beautiful surrounding area, including golfing and horseback riding. the hotel provided a wide range of onsite activities that kept our family entertained throughout our stay.
My wife says that the only thing she wished the hotel had was a dedicated children's play area. Despite the numerous activities available, she felt that having a designated space for the kids to play and interact with other children would have been a great addition for families like ours.
